Ad Hoc Committees

There are frequent needs for special service efforts. One current effort is the Visitor Advertising Advisory Committee, which is charged with interfacing with the Bradenton Area Conventions and Visitors Bureau to produce advertising to benefit the accommodations industry on the Manatee County end of Longboat Key.

A wedding committee is currently in formation. If you would be interested in joining this committee please contact dmims@longboatkeychamber.com.

The Chamber encourages other suggested events, new and unusual venues, as wells alternative suggestions to the manner of conduct of events where possible. We also encourage members to volunteer their service to the Chamber in other ways including activities within the Chamber office. Let us know of your interest and remember that such service is an almost sure way to connect with the public as well as your business colleagues. The Chamber intends for member involvement in committee service to be a “win” for the member, the committee and the Chamber.
